Dog Training Collars

I think about now you must be feeling very guilty about even thinking of giving your dog a shock because he won’t behave. You really shouldn’t feel bad though, the new dog shock collar is a very humane product. If you are not sure about the feeling, try it out on yourself then you will know for sure how gentle it is.

You maybe weren’t aware but dog trainers have been using this same type of collar for years to train dogs because it is the quickest and safest method to get them to behave.

You should have your unruly dog under control is just a matter of a couple of weeks of wearing this collar.

No longer will you come home expecting to find chewed shoes, the litter bin upset and garbage all over the floor etc. All should be calm and well ordered.

I don’t mean to say it is like giving your dog a lobotomy – it isn’t, it merely gives him a tingle which he will learn to associate with something bad he did and eventually he won’t do that bad thing again even if you aren’t there at the time.

With animals it’s all about association and once they learn something usually they don’t forget.
Unfortunately that goes for bad things as well as good things. They do a bad thing once and they will go on doing it – unless you step in and stop them.

A lot of these dog shock collars are remote controlled and this is especially good if you like to let your dog run free in a park for example. You will still be able to see if he is doing something he shouldn’t and you can give him that warning tingle and he will stop doing it. He will be thinking about the feeling and where it came from.

Fortunately you won’t get in his bad books because he won’t even realize it was you, you are away from him so he will be thinking it couldn’t possibly be you. Brownie points for you!

A particularly good point with the shock, it is always the same, a definite NO. Sometimes your voice tone can differ and that can confuse a dog. I say the shock will be the same, but there are plenty of these collars that give you a range of strengths for the shocks. I expect he would have to do something really bad to warrant the top of the range.

I would think chasing cars comes into that category. This is something you need to get under control as quickly as possible. Chasing cars is obviously dangerous, to the motorist and also to your dog. This must be stopped immediately, if not before!
